Maori Language Week - Colours in Maori
Did you know that some colours in Maori Language have 2 or 3 words?
Also, ma is white and whero is red. The word for pink is mawhero - white and red mixed together makes pink!
Maori Language Week - Sequencing a Hangi
As part of Maori Language Week, we talked about what a hangi is.
We watched a clip on Youtube, then sequenced images.
I wonder if the Room 2 Tui's could explain what a hangi is to their whanau / family at home?
