Today we enjoyed our first session of Stepping Out with Constable Carl.
We were learning about different types of traffic, how to cross the road safely, walking on the house-side (not the kerb-side) and looking out for sneaky driveways.
We walked up to the village and talked about all these important things.
We saw two types of pedestrian crossings - one with traffic lights and one without.
We talked about the green man, the countdown and the red man, and what this means.
Which ever type of crossing it is, we must wait for cars to stop before stepping out onto the road.
